One of the benefits of maintaining our forest as we do is that we sometimes get to see some of the wildlife that benefits from this method of stewardship. We've seen various types of wildlife and have caught a few on camera. Shown below is a fox, which we are hoping is scoping out this den to have little ones.
We've also seen a hairy woodpecker (which we hear often as we work away at improving our forests), different types of grouse, lots of different birds and many of the other wildlife native to the island.
