Although we had a light dusting of snow earlier in the week, this was our first true snowstorm of 2025. It came through with a good blast, and it looks like the snow is here to stay. Temperatures are expected to drop to –21°C with the windchill on Thursday night. There’s also a snow squall warning (10–15 cm) and a “Wreckhouse wind warning” — a new one for me — issued for Thursday evening.
Looks like we might be in for a white Christmas!
