Over the past few months, as we’ve been improving our woodlots, it became clear that upgrading our equipment was necessary. We recently added a 6x4 Gator to make it easier to travel our woods roads and haul gear. Years ago, we had a 4x4 Gator on the farm, which we used daily for delivering hay and general chores, so it’s nice to have one back in use.
We also added a stump bucket to our lineup to help with building and maintaining our woods roads. We strive to keep our impact on the woodland to a minimum, and using the tractor for this work has proven to be the most effective and environmentally friendly approach.
Ness is growing into a lovely little dog & eagerly joins us in the woods.
